What are some ways you feel we can improve the V.I.'s economy?
# 1 THING JOBS FOR OUR LOCAL PEOPLE......I THINK THE LOCAL PEOPLE SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW OFF OUR SKILLS AND TAKE OVER IN THE FIELDS N JOBS WHERE STATESIDE CREWS & OUT OF TOWN CREWS ARE IN DEMAND.WE THE LOCALS CAN DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY CAN DO N EVEN BETTER....

I AGREE WITH YOU 100% . I FIND THAT A BIG REASON WHY MANY OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION DON'T COME BACK AFTER COLLEGE IS BECAUSE THE'RE ARE NO JOBS...

I Agree as well. I think another way to improve the economy is by attracting tourism on all 4 islands. We need more businesses to come to the VI. Example: K-Mart needs a heel lot more competition right now. We have many acres of land that are not being used. We need more attraction sites for our kids as well. If the school ain't having a function, them kids ain't got nothing to keep them occupied on weekends. The movie theaters brings out the movies later than the mainland and they ain't got no competition either.
The Virgin Islands needs a lot of help in every area you can possibly think of.
